We have another election day. Since the last one we have had an attempted coup by the last president. We have seen lie after lie. An attempt to assassinate the House speaker was just foiled, wither husband nearly murdered. I have been away from this blog for awhile, but I anticipate that I will spend more time on it. I tend to spend time on Facebook, but recently if I criticize right wingers I am told that I have violated Facebook standards. Apparently their standards have become fascist.
Perhaps they do not like that I remind people that Jesus is the archetypal Liberal. I also have defended the right to privacy and point out that homophobia is a sign of people either being closeted or suppressed. I have also mentioned that I have known (not "Biblically") at least 2 hermaphrodites. Apparently there are a LOT of people insecure about their gender identity.
Years ago (mid 1950s) when I was in the 6th grade in Sumter S.C. there was a 1st grade child who was born male but knew that he/she was female. No one else in his/her family was in any way transexual, The girls in his/her neighborhood KNEW that she was a girl. At school he/she was allowed to go to the girl's bathroom. About 20 years later I (and my wife) met her as a grown woman. She was well adjusted. I don't know the details about her transformation. In show business I have met a number of male to female transexuals. They are no threat to anybody.
